Kollam: The trial of Trivikraman Nair, the first witness in the Vismaya case and Vismaya’s father, continues. The trial is before Kollam First Additional Sessions Judge KN Sujith.
Trivikraman Nair denied the allegation that the car was tied to Kiran’s head as it would be a shame if he did not have a car to go anywhere. Kiran did not come even though she was surprised to meet her husband to invite her son Vijith to her wedding. The witness also denied the allegation of the respondent that his father had taken Vismaya away from her husband’s house due to this animosity. When asked if Kiran had called Vismaya’s permission and gone home, the witness replied that he did not know.
The phone conversation between Vismaya and Kiran on January 11, 2021 was heard in court. The witness recognized the voices of both. Adv. Prathap Chandran Pillai objected. Will continue today.
