(CercleFinance.com) – Vivendi announces that it has obtained authorization from the European Commission to carry out its merger project with the Lagardre group, an authorization which remains subject to the fulfillment of the two commitments proposed by Vivendi.
The latter will have to sell 100% of the capital of Editis, for which he entered into a purchase agreement with International Media Invest on April 23, as well as the magazine Gala ‘which is already the subject of numerous brands. Confident of being able to finalize these two operations by the end of October, Vivendi stresses that the merger with Lagardre will “give it a whole new dimension” with 66.
