Vivo announces that it will no longer sell daily applications on Easy plans from January

A Vivo announced last week a change that could severely impact Easy plan subscribers. The operator confirms that as of January 31, 2024, it will no longer sell app rates, while voice, SMS, international roaming, internet allowances and Prime Plans will continue to be available as normal.

The company’s new policy affects the apps WhatsApp, Tinder, X (former Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Netflix, YouTube, Twitch, Spotify, TikTok, Moovit and Waze, which leave the teleporter’s portfolio at the end of this month. Vivo Prime customers can purchase nights for these services until 01/30/2024, with the balance of the nights normally available until the end.

Vivo also explains that Spotify daily rates will no longer be part of Prime Alive from January 31st, however, the available balance can be used by the customer until the end. Information regarding daily rates can still be consulted in the Easy app (Android and iOS) even after the company ends this modality.

“You will continue to use your line normally with the internet franchise balance, daily voice and SMS rates. Easy Prime plans will not have any changes to unlimited services (voice, SMS and WhatsApp).” The company published a page on its website where consumers can ask questions about the recent changes to the Vivo Easy plan.

Rest assured! They will not be lost. You can use them normally until the end. You can view the daily balance on the Vivo Easy app home page.

3. What happens to anyone who is an Easy Prime Alive subscriber? Will I lose my accumulated Spotify dailies? Will the Easy Prime Alive plan change in value?

Your next renewal from 01/31/2024 will have no change in value and you will receive: 12 GB + WhatsApp, unlimited calls and SMS + R$20 cashback. Spotify daily rates will no longer be part of your plan. The accumulated services will continue to be available and can be used until the end.”
