Vivo foldable phone ‘Vivo X Fold S’ passed 3C certification. Supports 80W super-fast charging

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s latest foldable smartphone ‘Vivo X Fold S (model number V2229A)’ has passed 3C mandatory certification in China. The Vivo X Fold S is known as an improved version of the Vivo X Fold released in April.

According to the certification document, ‘Vivo X Fold S’ supports 80W dual C port GaN fast charger. Although other information cannot be confirmed, Tipster said that the ‘Vivo X Fold S’ will be provided with a display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ first-generation processor.

In addition, a 4700mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, a quad camera consisting of a 50MP main camera + 48MP ultra-wide camera + 12MP telephoto camera + 8MP periscope sensor is expected to be provided.
