Vivo launched the third generation of its foldable phone, the X Fold, in China, along with other products. The new series includes a standard edition X Fold 3 And a professional version X Fold 3 Pro.
Both phones share some identical specifications as well as differences between each other. The X Fold 3 arrives as a successor to last year’s phone, the X Fold 2.
The two devices provide identical OLED screens measuring 6.53 inches and with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels for the external screen, while the internal screen measures 8.03 inches and has a resolution of 2748 x 1172 pixels.
Both displays feature a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

The series includes a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main lens with optical image stabilization technology and a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens.
Meanwhile, the third lens comes with a resolution of 50 megapixels in the X Fold 3, while the X Fold 3 Pro has a periscope telephoto lens with a resolution of 64 megapixels.
The series features 32-megapixel cameras for indoor and outdoor displays. The X Fold 3 Pro comes with the company’s self-developed V3 imaging chip.
The X Fold 3 Pro contains a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the X Fold 3 contains a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
The processor in both phones is coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
