Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the phone regarding issues including the G-20 summit. Issues such as growing bilateral cooperation in space and BRICS expansion were also discussed.

Putin informed Modi that he would not be able to attend the G20 summit in New Delhi on September 9 and 10, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov would attend as Russia’s representative.
