There was a lot of excitement when it became known that the Nothhaft villa on Bahnhofstrasse had been sold and that apartment blocks were to be built on the site. It wasn’t just the immediate neighbors who were up in arms once morest the project; there was also criticism from politicians. On Monday, the local council agreed to create a new planning area for the area. Mayor Peter Schobesberger (SP) subsequently spoke of a “good compromise”.
