The mayor of Franconia, Norbert Weber, was one of the reasons why he invited the employees of the building yards of the Vöcklatal municipalities to help out quickly with a device if necessary and to know which means the neighboring municipalities use to fulfill their tasks.
During the tour of the Frankenburg building yard, the equipment and the vehicle fleet were of particular interest, giving plenty of reason to exchange experiences. Mayor Weber pointed out the expert knowledge in various areas, which can be used for cheap procurement and for synergies.
Frankenburg presented its facilities for the maintenance of 102 kilometers of municipal roads, 75 kilometers of municipal canals and 43 kilometers of water pipes. With the ASZ there are currently 14 employees.
