An unusual treat was brought by a new participant in the project.
Maxim Lagashkin appeared in the third edition of the Stars in Africa project and brought a “treat” to his colleagues – caterpillars that all participants had to eat, including Valya Karnaval, Natalya Rudova and Alena Vodonaeva.
During the time on the project, it seems that no one really refused food, even such an exotic one. Valya Karnaval ate her caterpillar without any disgust, but Natalya Rudova called the dish disgusting.
“It tastes like smelt. But you can’t explain to your brain that it’s smelt. The brain is like this: “This is a caterpillar, a fool. And we eat it. It’s terrible,” Rudova said.
But Alena Vodonaeva, it seems, is also used to this. Instead of eating the larva at once, she, holding it with two fingers, slowly bit off it.
As a result, for the completed task, the whole team received worms, but this time sweet ones. The team was very happy with the marmalade.
