The Russians will raise social benefits
In June, pensions will increase for unemployed Russians, there will be more state-funded places in universities, and responsibility for forest fires will also increase. Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin spoke about the changes.
“The pensions of non-working pensioners, the subsistence minimum and the minimum wage are increased by 10%. This decision of the President will also lead to an increase in a number of social benefits, including for families with children,” Volodin wrote on his telegram channel.
- Universities will have more state-funded places for master’s programs. The law went into effect May 28;
- The period of payment of the survivor’s pension will be extended. Russians over the age of 18 who have graduated from high school and have not yet entered a college or university will receive a payment until September 1 of the year in which they completed their studies;
- Russians will buy tickets to sporting events using a fan ID. The list of events will be determined by the government of the Russian Federation. The issuance of a document may be refused if a person violated public order at sporting events;
- From June 1, the law on a unified system of public authority will be in force, which involves the establishment of a five-year term of office for parliamentarians in the regions, as well as the procedure for early termination of powers. Regional leaders will officially be called heads or governors;
- From June 8, the state will inform Russians about the benefits and allowances they are entitled to. Information will be taken from the Unified State Social Security System with the consent of citizens;
- Responsibility for violation of fire rules in the forest will increase. From June 8, fines will increase by 15-20 times, for legal entities the fines will increase by two to three times. The maximum amount of the fine will be 2 million rubles;
- Tighter control over the circulation of weapons. The age for purchasing hunting weapons will be raised from 18 to 21 from June 29;
- For the treatment of serious diseases in children, off-label drugs included in the list of clinical recommendations or standards of medical care will be used. This will be possible with the consent of the patient or representative;
- The identification of the client will be simplified, for this they will be allowed to use a driver’s license. From June 29, the payment limit for CASCO and OSAGO is increased, at which it will not be necessary to check the client’s passport.
