The Fisheries and Conservation Department dispatched personnel to the scene that day, and several animal volunteers also came to rescue. In the end, volunteer Miss Li was authorized by the daughter of the person involved to rescue the cats and dogs at the scene. Miss Li said that the other party had promised not to get those cats and dogs back, and she would look for them to adopt. Another animal group, “Cat’s Zone Animal Charity Co., Ltd.” also stated that it would assist in the adoption of cats and dogs.
It is known that the woman involved has been occupying the back alley with paper skins and debris for many years, and has raised several cats and two dogs, but none of those cats were neutered. Among the 13 cats rescued that day, 5 were Cat B. It is estimated that at least one cat is pregnant. On that day, the government took enforcement action to arrest the woman involved in the case. Later, the woman involved in the case reported that she was unwell and was sent to the hospital.
Many volunteers learned that there were many cats and dogs there and rushed to the scene to understand and rescue them. So this time, after learning about the government’s clean-up operation, he went to the scene to see how to save the cats. .
Volunteer Miss Li received help from the daughter of the person involved at 8 p.m. that night, “I have known the person’s daughter for many years, but I have only met that person twice. I always knew she had dogs, but I didn’t expect so many dogs. Cats.” Ms. Li arrived at the scene at 9:00, and there were several AFCD staff and about 7 animal volunteers. She told AFCD staff that she had received help from the daughter of the involved person and was authorized to pick up the cats and dogs, ” The AFCD asked to see the power of attorney, and a person who helped the woman showed the power of attorney provided by the woman’s daughter to the AFCD, and the AFCD accepted it and let me take the cats and dogs.”
She said that there were 13 cats in the cage, including 8 adult cats and 5 cat B, one of which is estimated to be pregnant. Two dogs were also tied up in the field, the black dog was about 10 years old and the other beige dog was estimated to be about 3 years old. The cats are now in her home, while the two dogs are being taken care of by friends who live in the village house.
Regarding the whereabouts of the cats and dogs, Ms. Li said that she would not hand them over to the woman who occupied the back alley, “The environment is too dirty, the cats and dogs trapped there are easy to get sick, I will arrange adoption for those cats and dogs, they should live at home.”
