The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said that early on the morning of May 4, an air defense system detected and shot down a drone in the sky over the region.
“There are no casualties or destruction. Nothing threatens the life and health of the inhabitants of the region. The situation is under my personal control.” wrote Mr. Gusev in his Telegram channel.
On January 2, on approach to Voronezh, a reconnaissance drone launched from the territory of Ukraine was shot down. There were no casualties or destruction. On January 20, a ban on civilian drone flights was introduced in the region.
