Climate stickers should pay for damage.

Vienna (OTS) – The unannounced protest actions of the climate stickers result in enormous costs. This year alone, the Vienna police incurred deployment costs of 2 million euros. Of these, blockers of the “last generation” caused 550,000 euros in deployment costs.

From the outset, the Viennese People’s Party not only called for these willful protest actions to be sanctioned with imprisonment, but also for the adhesive activists to compensate for this enormous damage.

It is important to uncover the donors behind the climate stickers, because there are some people and organizations who finance their actions. Working – in the traditional sense – is no longer necessary for many of the self-proclaimed climate activists. “The deployment costs must be consistently demanded from the “last generation”. It is incomprehensible that the taxpayers have to pay for this,” state party chairman Karl Mahrer concludes.
