SPÖ on the extreme left and the mayor of Vienna supports this path?

Vienna (OTS) – The elections within the SPÖ have been defeated and what many no longer thought possible is now reality: a Marxist and Che Guevara supporter is at the head of the Social Democrats. The mayor of Vienna, Michael Ludwig, remains adamantly silent about the fantasies of his federal party chairman and also assures him of his full support.

The state party chairman of the Vienna People’s Party, City Councilor Karl Mahrer: “The new SPÖ chairman dreams of a Marxist policy in which class struggle and the division of society, inheritance and property taxes as well as open borders and a completely undifferentiated welcome policy are the order of the day should. Mayor Ludwig, as head of the Viennese SPÖ, has to explain whether this is really the core of the Viennese SPÖ.”

“The People’s Party will continue to look at the problems in Vienna instead of looking the other way and will actively offer solutions. Because Vienna doesn’t need a class struggle – Vienna needs a sensible policy of the center and balance and that very close to the people,” Mahrer concluded.
