Kochi: Chala Chakara is curious on the banks of Vypin. Chalakutam reached the shore late yesterday evening. Its video is now viral on social media. The incident took place at Roro Jetty and on the coast.
Unexpectedly, the shoal would approach the shore and jump ashore. People watched with curiosity at first, but later came in droves and collected handfuls of chala in plastic covers and umbrellas. The fish are concentrated around the Wypin Roro Jetty and near the gill nets.
Last day there was Chakara on the shore of Fort Kochi too.
