The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Monday seeking to continue the weekend’s recovery sparked by a slowdown in American employment which once once more suggests a soft landing for the economy.
The Dow Jones index gained 0.49%, the technology-dominated Nasdaq advanced 0.30% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.42% during early trading.
