Council of Ministers of April 13, 2023: the government adopts a decree on general mobilization and warning
On April 13, 2023, the council adopted a decree on general mobilization and warning. “Faced with the security situation facing Burkina Faso, the salvation of the nation depends on a national outburst of all daughters and sons in order to find a solution”, indicated the Minister of State, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, Colonel-Major Kassoum COULIBALY. The adoption of this decree on general mobilization and the warning aims to give the State all the means necessary to deal with the security situation. Above all, this decree aims to provide a legal framework for all the actions to be implemented to deal with the situation in Burkina Faso.
