Warren Buffett buys even more Apple shares

A Berkshire Hathawaya company managed by the famous billionaire investor Warren Buffettcontinues to increase its participation in the Apple [$AAPL]having bought more 333,856 papers in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to information from the StreetInsider.

With the latest addition, Berkshire Hathaway now owns 895,136,175 Apple shares, which are currently worth approx. $137 billion.

Apple is among Buffett’s biggest holdings in the financial market alongside companies like Bank of America, Coca-Cola and American Express. As we know, the billionaire’s relationship with Apple has only grown since he made his first major purchase, in 2016, with an investment of approximately US$1.07 billion (regarding 9.81 million shares at the time).

Although Buffet’s company has sold some shares during that time, it is known that he has earned more than $100 billion from Apple shares since 2016.
