Al-Marsad newspaper: Activists on social media in Iraq circulated a video clip of an old man sleeping on the sidewalk, who they said was “a doctor who was expelled from his apartment.”
According to the activists, this doctor is called Salman al-Samarrai, a pediatric internist, and he was expelled months ago from his apartment in Baghdad.
And people in the video, some of whom are neighbors of the doctor, who was living in the Al-Salihiya area in the Iraqi capital, appear, and say that they “knew him for many years.”
The video clip did not reveal the identity of the people who expelled and stripped him of his residence.
