Al-Marsad newspaper: The Lebanese fortune-teller, Lily Abdel-Latif, sparked controversy on social media, immediately following the Moroccan national team defeated its Portuguese counterpart 1-0 and qualified for the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.

A video was circulated of the Lebanese fortune-teller, recorded regarding a year ago, in which she predicted that an Arab team would qualify for the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.

Lily Abdel Latif said at the time: “There is an Arab country that will reach the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2022 in Qatar.”

The Moroccan national team achieved a historic achievement in the World Cup in Qatar, as it became the first Arab and African country to reach the semi-finals.

The Moroccan national team will meet its French counterpart in the Golden Square next Wednesday evening.
