Al-Marsad Newspaper: The environmental activist, Saad Al-Suhaimi, revealed the role of precautionary dams that were recently constructed in protecting the governorate of Jeddah – after God – from a major disaster after the heavy rains yesterday.
He pointed out that the amount of rainwater yesterday reached 179 mm, while in 2009 the amount was approximately 90 mm. According to the Daily Mail.
During the video, he reviewed one of the precautionary dams, and the large amount of rain water that the dam withheld.
He pointed out that the precautionary dam contributed to preventing the leakage of torrential rains from eastern Jeddah into the city.
