Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Arabiya channel published, on Saturday, footage from the “Riyadh Marathon”, the first international marathon in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of more than 10,000 competitors of different nationalities in 4 races of various distances.
The marathon witnessed the participation of a number of professionals in the men’s and women’s category from different countries, including Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Ethiopia.
The length of the marathon was 42 kilometers, and it started from King Saud University at 06:00 in the morning, passing through the historic Diriyah, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road, main roads, King Abdullah Financial Center and the Digital City.
The percentage of Saudi participants in the race reached 57 percent, and the remaining percentages were distributed among participants from other countries.
