His sister said that leader Kim “had a high fever during the outbreak of the virus.”
Yoo Jung noted that Kim “was suffering from a high fever during this war-like period of quarantine, but he could not lie down even for a moment thinking about the people responsible for him.”

The influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un accused South Korea of causing the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country, and threatened it with a “retaliatory response” as Pyongyang declared its “victory” over the epidemic.
Corona balloons
And North Korea has previously attributed the outbreak of Covid-19 on its soil to “strange things” happening near the border with the South, allegations that Seoul strongly rejected. Despite the ban, which went into effect in 2021, South Korean activists have for years been sending balloons across the border to the North carrying leaflets and US dollars, which Pyongyang has long protested against.
On Thursday, the official North Korean Central News Agency reported that Yoo Jong blamed the activities at the border for the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic in the North, considering it a “crime against humanity.”
In turn, Kim Jong Un declared “victory” over the recent outbreak of Corona in the country, stressing that the country had “eliminated” the virus.
But while celebrating the end of the “quarantine war,” Kim said that “the DPRK will continue anti-epidemic measures and border controls to prevent new mutant entering the country, warning of the possibility of another health nightmare.”
