Watch .. “specialist” reveals an unexpected surprise about the reasons for the high prices of airline tickets in Saudi Arabia

Al-Marsad newspaper: A specialist in the aviation sector, Omar Al-Qahtani, revealed the reasons for the high prices of airline tickets in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Qahtani said during his appearance on Al-Arabiya channel: “We have question marks, we have modern planes, they were purchased in 2016, and in 2018-2019 they arrived, and they are now in storage programs, and they have become like a ground museum.”

And he continued, “Today, unfortunately, our airports, with low operation, have become a museum for aircraft, and any passenger can see from the plane’s windows, the number of planes that are inactive.”

He added: “We hope that it was not intentional, and in the event that it was intentional, this means a purely commercial practice, to reduce supply and play to raise prices. This is a problem in aircraft storage programs.”

Al-Qahtani continued, “We have a second problem with other programs, such as employment in Emiratisation programs, layoffs and salaries that have affected the aviation sector cadres, which led workers to submit resignations.”

And the aviation specialist concluded his statements: “A large number of workers were laid off due to the crisis that occurred due to the Corona virus, other than the impact on workers’ salaries.”
