For the record, the official name of the trophy is ‘Henri Delaunay’, having been named after the first UEFA General Secretary and initiator of the competition, Henri Delaunay. From 1960 until today, the European championship has been held 16 times and has been won by 10 different teams, including of course Greece in 2004.
Spain and Germany count the most conquests, both with three. The Euro trophy is silver, with a height of 60 cm and weighs 8 kg.
