Al-Marsad newspaper: Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi, owner of a recruitment office, revealed a surprise regarding the recruitment of domestic workers to Saudi Arabia from Thailand at the present time.
He said during an intervention with the “Saudi Street” program on the “Saudi Channel” that the recruitment of domestic workers is allowed, but they are not available, explaining that the reason is because Thailand is an industrial country and they bring in domestic workers from Vietnam.
Al-Ghamdi pointed out that domestic workers have become few, but professional workers are available in other fields, and attributed the rise in prices to supply and demand and the presence of alternative countries such as the Philippines, where the cost of recruitment is approximately 10,000 riyals, and explained that there are other alternative countries and the duration of recruitment of domestic workers from them. She is two months old.
