Eleven areas in the 6th of October city are experiencing 8 hours of water cuts today, as the Giza Governor announced that the Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, in coordination with the 6th of October City Authority, is implementing works to divert the water line with a diameter of 800 mm in Juhayna Square on the 26th of July axis, which requires cut water For 8 hours, from 10 pm today, Friday, until 6 am tomorrow, Saturday.
The governorate explained that the areas affected by the interruption are “Abu Rawash, the Industrial Zone in Abu Rawash, the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, starting from Hazem Hassan, New Giza, Kerdasa, Majadleh, the New Security Directorate, Special Operations, Wadi Degla, Samcrete, and Motn View.”
The Giza Water and Sanitation Company will provide cars loaded with clean water for drinking purposes to go to the areas affected by the outage when calling the emergency number 125.
