2023-06-21 01:59:00

This Tuesday, the MAS Group has reported that there was a mega water leak on the Tejar line, for which the plants were taken out of operation and several neighborhoods in Veracruz would suffer from a lack of vital liquid.

Below is the statement:

We inform you that this afternoon there was a drinking water leak in the 42-inch conduction line that connects the Tejar II water treatment plant in the municipality of Medellín de Bravo with the “Médano” and “Pocitos” regulating tanks in the city from Veracruz.

Our technical staff is already on site and we have put the Tejar I and II Water Treatment Plants out of operation in order to diagnose the magnitude of the damage and determine the solutions and deadlines. Due to this, the neighborhoods and subdivisions that are supplied by these producing sources, mainly those that depend directly on this pipeline, will gradually experience a lack of water in the next few hours.

We suggest our users to keep abreast of official announcements and updates through Grupo MAS communication channels, likewise we make the recommendation to make rational use of stored water in order to avoid inconveniences during work.

For more information, we put at your disposal our official social networks, as well as our

We appreciate your understanding.
