Town council teams swung into action immediately upon discovery, isolating the compromised conduit to stem the loss.
For the lone residential unit affected at Block 639, restoration was swift. The town council confirmed that water service to the apartment was re-established shortly after officials were alerted. Commercial establishments nearby faced a slightly more complex logistical puzzle, as the affected shophouses were shuttered for the night when the break occurred.
