We follow the tank more than our children • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Ekhbariya channel published a report on the problem of the drinking water shortage in the Shubra neighborhood of Riyadh.

The channel’s correspondent explained during the report that the citizens of Shubra neighborhood suffer from frequent water cuts, on the pretext that the pumping pipe is under maintenance.

He pointed out that the residents of the neighborhood submitted many complaints to the water company without a response, which prompted the residents to resort to the black market to buy water for high amounts.

He continued, the only beneficiary is the commercial tanker, which irrigates homes with water of unknown source. Adding that if the population is safe from interruption, they will not be spared from the greed of merchants.

Abdul Aziz Al-Laheem, one of the residents, said that they get drinking water by means of water outlets, and he continued, if the aqueducts pour water, they pour it with a dropper, and we follow the tank more than our children.

Khaled Al-Sulaihem, a resident, added, the water tank has turned red because of the water tanks. How long will this situation last? We have submitted many complaints without a response.
