The artist Walid Tawfik stressed the importance of separating art from politics, saying: “The artist cannot sing for love and lovers while cursing the other party who is different from him, there is a kind of contradiction.”
During his hosting of the “Show the Story” program on the Syrian “Lana” channel, Tawfik took the advice of the artist, Elissa, and said: “All people love you if you are a party.”
Walid Tawfik expressed his deep regret for singing directly to political figures.
