“We will do everything to defend our people”: Syrian Kurdistan prepares for a major attack

Eleven bodies are wrapped in a red, yellow and green flag. “Martyrs don’t die,” chanted the crowd in Kurdish. This morning of Monday, November 21, less than 10 kilometers from the Turkish border, “the martyrs” were buried in the small cemetery in the town of Al-Malikiyah, 40,000 souls, in northeastern Syria, following a week -end under the lights of his neighbour.
