Weak final lap: Wiesberger slipped down to 17th place in Boston

A drop in performance on the final round knocked golf pro Bernd Wiesberger out of the top flight at the $20 million LIV tournament in Boston.

The Burgenlander needed 72 shots with four bogeys and two birdies on Sunday, stayed two over par and slipped from fifth to 17th place. Victory went nine strokes earlier to the American Dustin Johnson, who held Anirban Lahiri (India) and Joaquin Niemann (Chile) in check in the jump-off.
