Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis comments on the events for the news channel
Berlin (ots) – WELT TV will be reporting comprehensively live in its news series on King Charles’ visit to Germany from Wednesday, March 29th to Friday, March 31st, 2023.
Charles III and his wife Camilla are received by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier with military honors in front of the Brandenburg Gate on Wednesday afternoon. In the evening, a state banquet is planned at Bellevue Palace. Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz welcomes the royal head of Britain on Thursday, March 25, together with the incumbent Berlin Mayor Franziska Giffey. Afterwards Charles III. as the first monarch to give a speech in the Bundestag. During his stay he will attend various appointments and meetings in Berlin, Brandenburg and Hamburg.
The WELT reporters Alina Quast and Laura Kipfelsberger accompany the royal couple’s journey, and the WELT reporter Christina Lewinsky and reporter Achim Unser give an assessment of the political importance of the royal visit. Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis will also comment on the events on Wednesday and Friday and expert Arndt Striegler will be a guest in the WELT news studio every day.
