Western Digital boosts the capacities of its WD My Books

Western Digital announces an upgrade to its WD® My Book™ desktop storage line. To help consumers preserve their ever-changing digital world, the company, building on a heritage of technological innovation, offers the highest capacity ever in a desktop hard drive, the 22TB* My Book™ , to give users more flexibility to store all their valuable data.

The 22TB* My Book gives users the ability to back up and preserve thousands of documents, photos, videos and other files from a variety of storage devices, such as portable SSDs and HDDs , memory cards and USB sticks, storing them in an organized and easy-to-access location. For those looking for even more robust storage capabilities, the My Book Duo is also now available in 44TB* capacity, equipped with RAID-optimized Western Digital® drives, ready to run at maximum speed and capacity right from the start. out of the box. The My Book Duo can be reconfigured to RAID-1 for redundancy (data mirroring) or used as two independent drives (JBOD) with included software.

These new high-capacity solutions have significant space to help users safeguard their personal data, and perhaps even that of their household.
