March 10 is celebrated as International Day of Wonder, International Day of Women Judges, International Bagpipe Day, Mario Day, International Wig Day, and Trample Day.

In Ukraine – National Anthem Day, Taras Shevchenko Memorial Day.

The Orthodox Church honors the memory of the martyrs Kodratus, Kyprian, Anect and Chryskent.

National Anthem Day of Ukraine

The National Anthem Day was approved in 2021 on December 7 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The work of the composer Mykhailo Verbytskyi and the poet Pavlo Chubynskyi “Ukraine is not dead yet…” became the state symbol of our country. The date of the National Anthem Day of Ukraine was chosen in accordance with the event when this piece was first performed at a concert dedicated to Taras Shevchenko Memorial Day. The concert was held in Przemyśl (Poland), and the composition at the concert sounded like the final one.

Taras Shevchenko Memorial Day

Every year on March 9 and 10, corresponding to the day of his birth and death, the whole world, and especially Ukraine, honors the memory of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko – a classic of Ukrainian literature. In 2024, the national symbol of Ukraine will be 210 years old. Taras Shevchenko was a brilliant writer, artist, historian, thinker and ethnographer.

International Day of Women Judges

The International Day of Women Judges is celebrated annually on March 10 to recognize the contribution of women judges around the world. It is part of a global effort to ensure gender equality and address gender-related judicial integrity issues. It is aimed at including issues of women’s representation in judicial systems.

Church holiday

Believers honor the memory of the martyrs Codratus, Cyprian, Dionysius, Anekta, Paul and Chryskentus. Kodratus was a pious elder devoted to Christ. He was arrested and killed along with other Christians for his faith. Cyprian was martyred with Codratus and others. His devotion to faith led to suffering and death.

Paul is another one of those who renounced idolatry and believed in Christ. Just like Dionysius, Anect and Crescentus.
