What countries were not invited by Britain to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral?

Al-Marsad newspaper: Media sources revealed that the British government did not send invitations to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II to representatives of Russia, Belarus and Myanmar.

According to the British News Agency, the farewell ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II on September 19, will be attended by regarding 500 high-ranking guests from all over the world.

It is noteworthy that Iran in particular will be represented at the level of the ambassador in London.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill, Italian President Sergio Mattarella, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, King Philip VI of Spain and his wife Letizia had confirmed his participation in the funeral.

The Russian embassy in the United Kingdom has not yet commented on the information circulated in the media, and Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a personal presence of Vladimir Putin at the funeral of Elizabeth II was out of the question.

Elizabeth II died on September 8 at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
