The program Solidarity Income It is an economic support of the Government of Colombia to families living in poverty, extreme poverty and in a condition of economic vulnerability, whose objective is to mitigate in this population the impacts derived from the emergency caused by Covid-19.
The social assistance program estimates to support more than three million households in conditions of poverty and economic vulnerability that are not beneficiaries of other social programs such as Families in Action, Youth in Action, Sales Tax Compensation – VAT or Protection of Senior Adult – Colombia Senior.
WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR THE PAYMENT OF SOLIDARITY INCOME?

- Fifth payment: second week of September (corresponds to the payment of September and October).

WHAT ARE THE AMOUNT OF SOLIDARITY INCOME?
All payments that are from 2022, when the program extended coverage, began to be sent from the second week of March and have been doing so every two months. (The first batch was made in January for 3 million families.) From this month, the beneficiaries will be more than 4 million people.
These payments are divided into two groups:
1. Households with one person per household:
- Group A: 420,000 Colombian pesos.
- Group B: 410,000 Colombian pesos.
2. Households with two or more people per household:
- Group A: 435,000 Colombian pesos.
- Group B: 420,000 Colombian pesos.
It is important to indicate that the households that are part of group C, according to the Sisbén IV classification, will continue to receive the $400,000 bimonthly.
