On the occasion of the Medintechs medical innovation fair at the Parc Floral in Paris until Tuesday, an application bearing this name was presented. The goal? Monitoring cancer patients at home. It also allows therapeutic monitoring throughout the treatment.

Make an assessment and validate it

It is a question of following a balance sheet for each patient. First, a nurse has an appointment with a cancer patient. To check that a patient has followed his treatment, the health professional activates the application and draws up a report every week: hair loss or not, respiratory problems or not… Once this assessment has been made, it validates it and it is automatically recorded.

But patients treated for cancer at home also have the option of being followed by pharmacists. You have to go to the pharmacy once a month to do this same assessment and always thanks to the Akao@Dom-Picto application.
