MEXICO.— Although there are already several streaming platforms, this 2024 one more will be made available to the public. However, this new entertainment alternative, unlike the existing ones, will house the mexican cinema.
And it debuts in the world of streaming Videomarta platform co-created by a Mexican, and which aims to be a window for the national filmography, but also a business model.
How does Videomart work?
This streaming service that was presented within the framework of the Sundance International Film Festival, in Utah, (the most important for independent films in the world), does not require a subscription.
But people interested in the catalog of Videomart, you must buy the movies of your interest; Also with this method it will give the filmmakers a share of the profits.
Moisés Zamora, also the creator of “Selena: the series”, has been working for more than a year on this platform that has already come to light, and which has the banned film among its contents. “The Saint in Lepers and Sex.”
From this title, which contains several nude scenes, will go on sale a million units for the whole world.
And the purchase and sale of contents will be carried out through technology blockchainwhich allows the transfer of a value or asset from one place to another, without the presence of third parties.
“It is a platform that is like a market, where the user has the possibility of buying a movie and owning it. But instead of keeping your digital access on that platform, as is done on others, you will be able to sell it to another user within the same platform,” explains Zamora.

Videomartunlike the well-known platforms, it is not subscription-based, just register with an email to access the catalog, but only one tape can be seen when purchased.
Once purchased, the user can keep it or sell it at the same price, higher or lower. In every transaction a percentage will go to the owner of the film rights. The cost will depend of the title itself, but they will be competitive prices, assured Moisés Zamora.

What Mexican movies can be found at Videomart?
Videomart has so far 50 titlesof which 80% is Mexican, but 30 per month will be added and an agreement has just been signed to obtain a catalog of over 500 short films successful people from all over the world.
