What to do if Apple Watch doesn’t track your activities

O Apple Watch has become essential for many people — not only because of the convenience of having a lot of information on their wrist, but also because of the possibility of keeping track of their physical activities and all the data that involves them.

So when your calories, exercise, or standing hours aren’t accurately calculated, it can get frustrating. With that in mind, in this article we have separated some tips that can help solve your problem.

Here we go?! ⌚️

  • Make sure you’re wearing your Apple Watch correctly. According to Apple, it needs to be comfortably adjusted on the wrist, that is: not too loose, not too tight.
  • Check if your data in the Health app is filled in correctly.
  • You can manually calibrate your Apple Watch so that it can show more accurate data about your physical activities.
  • Reset the calibration data. On iPhone, open the Watch app, tap “Privacy” and scroll down to “Reset Calibration Data”. Then do the manual calibration process again.
  • Try restarting your iPhone and Apple Watch.
  • Reset Apple Watch to factory settings.

If you are still experiencing such issues, try contacting Apple to have your case investigated. This can be done by calling 0800-761-0880, via the website or via the Support app.

You can also make an appointment at one of the two Apple Stores located in Brazil or at an Apple Authorized Service Center.
