The story of “EXTRACTION PROJECT” revolves around two elite soldiers who end up at an oil refinery in Iraq, in the midst of a group of terrorists who put the lives of local workers at risk. The mission: escort civilians in a war zone.
The film was produced by the American production company XYZ Films in partnership with Netflix. The work is co-produced by the United States and China.
Extraction Project Plot
The cast of Project Extraction is led by the duo of protagonists Jackie Chan and John Cena.
An oil refinery in China becomes the target of terrorist attacks perpetrated by mercenary Owen Paddock, played by Pilou Asbaek. A former Chinese soldier, Luo Feng, is tasked with leading a team to rescue civilians.
As the crisis unfolds, American Chris Van Home, played by Cena, a former US Marine, joins Paddock’s team solely motivated by money. However, over time, he starts to rethink his actions as he understands the reason for the attack.
