All women know the Hydralin range. This includes many products and accompanies women’s lives, from puberty to menopause. In addition to cleansing gels adapted to each age, the Hydralin range also offers a moisturizing gel for the vaginal dryness or even a soothing gel in case of irritation. These products are considered cosmetic products. But the brand also offers medical devices (such as the vaginal test to detect fungal infections) and medicines. These belong to the Mycohydralin range. Capsules, creams and tablets intended to treat the symptoms (burns, irritations, itching) of vulva-vaginal mycoses.
The choice of one form rather than another of the drug Mycohydralin depends on the indication and especially on the location of the mycosis. For local treatment of vaginal mycosis with sensitive yeasts, in particular Candida, Mycohydralin in vaginal capsule is preferred. If vulvar involvement is associated, it is recommended to complete the treatment with the application of the cream. Vaginal tablets are reserved for the treatment of sensitive vaginal yeast infections. We can again associate them with the cream if the mycosis is extended to the vulva.
