Patients with “Covid-19”, which is caused by the Corona virus, suffer from common symptoms such as a persistent cough and loss of sense of smell and taste, but patients with the new mutant, “Omkiron”, are beginning to report a wide range of different symptoms.
And the British newspaper “The Sun”, quoting experts, reported that some of the patients with “Omicron” suffered from ear pain, which means that they have the mutation.
Konstantina Stankovic, chair of the department of otolaryngology at Stanford University, said that earache has become a common sign of the new mutation.
She said that a team had learned that people with “Covid-19” disease might develop symptoms in the inner ear, according to “Sky News Arabia”.
In order to test this theory, the team made a model of the inner ear and exposed it to the Corona virus.
Stankovic commented that the infection may be present in the ears, suggesting that the infection came through the nose.
