After the feature was seen in tests in March of this year, the WhatsApp started today to release for all video messages. Just like when the feature was in testing, the interface for a video message is different than when sending a video file from the gallery. The content appears inside a circle, really being something with the idea of being faster and more practical, in addition to the duration of the video being shown around the circle as it plays.
It’s worth remembering that video messages are also protected by end-to-end encryption, so only conversation members have access to your content. The feature began rolling out today and will gradually roll out to all users “in the coming weeks”.
