Anna Krotthammer is angry. She owns a 100-year-old house on Ziegeleistrasse that her great-grandfather built. Today she lives here with her mother and daughter. Ms. Krotthammer is still alone in the land register, but soon Asfinag will join them. Once the west ring is finished, the tunnel anchors will run right under their property, which has therefore been designated as a “federal road construction area” since 2014.
