As Namgoong-min and Jin Ah-reum announce their marriage, their love story is drawing attention.
Namgoong-min’s agency, 935 Entertainment, said on the 28th, “Actor Namgoong-min and his longtime lover, Jin Ah-reum, have come to bear the fruit of their long-standing love as a reliable companion.”
The wedding will be held privately with close relatives and acquaintances in Seoul on October 7th.
The agency said, “We ask for your warm support and blessings on the future of the two who will take the first meaningful step in their lives, and we will greet them with a good image in the future so that we can repay their hearts.”
Namgoong-min and Jin Ah-reum met in 2015 as a director and female lead in the short film ‘Light My Pie’. After that, the two developed into a romantic relationship, and the following year, they admitted that they were dating, and developed a love affair in public.
Namgoong-min became a hot topic by expressing his affection for his lover Jin Ah-reum through his acceptance speech at the ‘2020 SBS Drama Awards’ and ‘2021 MBC Acting Awards’.
At the time, Namgoong-min said in his acceptance speech, “I had a lot of work to prepare for ‘Black Sun’, so I was very stressed”, “But when I went out on set, the lovely actors were standing just like the characters of ‘Black Sun'”, “That really gives me strength. Jin Ah-reum appeared on KBS ‘Happy Together 4’ in 2019 and revealed her love story, saying, “Namgoong-min first expressed his feelings for him and confessed to him.”
Jin Ah-reum showed affection for her lover Namgoong-min, saying, “People are easygoing” and “there are a lot more aegyo than me.” was also disclosed.
In the same year, Namgoong-min, who appeared on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’, expressed his feelings for his girlfriend Jin Ah-reum, saying, “When I see him, he looks like a baby, so I call him a baby.” The age difference between the two is 11 years.
