WHO WILL BE THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE FOOD BONUS?
The norm already authorizes, “That exceptionally and for the only time, the granting of an individual monetary subsidy of S / 270 in favor of elderly people in a situation of economic vulnerability due to the rise in food prices”
The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, informed in his last message to the Nation that the subsidy will reach 6 million citizens of extreme poverty and vulnerability and with an investment of 2 billion soles, and in this way help to survive as well. in winter, since most of them tend to get sick with respiratory illnesses because they live in humid and precarious areas.

HOW WILL THE FOOD BONUS BE DELIVERED?

WHEN WILL THE FOOD BONUS BE PAID?
Julio Demartini Montes, General Director of Design and Articulation of Social Benefits of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) stated this Tuesday, August 16, that the payment of the food voucher, which includes the amount of S/ 270, will begin at the beginning of September.
“Starting in early September we are going to reach more than 6 million people with the food voucher. Right now we are finalizing the regulations to approve the targeting criteria that will allow the extremely poor and poor population to be identified and ensure that this bonus reaches those who need it most”He said in an interview with RPP.
WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF TIME IN WHICH THE FOOD VOUCHER WILL BE DELIVERED?
As indicated by Law No. 31538, within a period of 30 calendar days, approximately at the end of August 2022, the Council of Ministers will have to approve regulatory provisions that establish the eligibility criteria of the potential beneficiaries.
