In the Russian market, the Geely lineup is not updated very often. The only full-fledged novelty this year was the flagship Monjaro crossover. However, Russian buyers will soon have a double debut: the new Coolray and the Emgrand sedan should appear in showrooms this fall.

In this case, we are talking about official deliveries, and not about parallel imports, the publication clarifies. Recall that rumors about the appearance of these models in Russia have been circulating for a long time, and the story itself is somewhat confusing. It is known that a number of brand models are already entering Russia under parallel import schemes, while dealers sell such cars with a full warranty and other attributes of official sales. However, the Geely press service does not confirm information about official deliveries of new products.
New Geely Coolray
Recall that the new Coolray has been repeatedly noticed in Moscow. The video even got a car in camouflage wrapping. The novelty differs quite seriously from the familiar to Russian buyers “Culrea”, which has been on sale since 2020.
Under the hood of the crossover, a BHE15-EFZ turbo engine is installed. Compared to its predecessor, this 1.5-liter unit has four cylinders instead of three. Power has grown from 177 to 181 hp, and torque – from 255 to 290 Nm. The robotic 7-speed gearbox has also been updated. All this together is designed to make the car even more dynamic (7.6 s to 100 km/h) and economical (5.8 l/100 km combined). The drive remains exclusively front.

The interior of the new Coolray has changed noticeably. There is a new front panel, dual screens of the “tidy” and multimedia system, an updated central tunnel and other door cards. The number of available options has increased.
About how much the new Geely Coolray will cost has not yet been reported. As a guide, you can take prices in Kazakhstan, where this novelty has recently made its debut. For a car, they ask from 11.99 to 13.49 million tenge (2.55-2.87 million rubles). At the same time, the new Coolray turned out to be only 100-500 thousand tenge (21-106 thousand rubles) more expensive than the previous one, which has so far remained in service.
If such a difference continues in Russia, then the novelty will cost about 2.85 million. The current model is sold in Russia at a price of 2.33 to 2.74 million rubles (excluding special offers). We also recall that the place of the usual Coolrey in the Russian market should be taken by the Belgee X50 crossover.

The second long-awaited novelty is Geely Emgrand. Chinese Automobiles have already talked about the new sedan in detail, and also conducted a small test drive. This model has been on sale in Belarus since December last and today it costs from 49,200 to 56,900 Belarusian rubles (1.47-1.70 million rubles) on the local market.
In Russia, such cars can be found in various salons, including official dealers. For new Emgrand, on average, they ask from 1.9 to 2.3 million rubles.
