Megan Lucky has been known as the US Open’s “Beer Queen” for the past two years.
The 27-year-old was not seen this year.
She herself says that she was denied an appearance on the video cube.
Last year and the year before last, videos went viral of US Open fan Megan Lucky emptying a beer in the stands very quickly – in under eight seconds. This time, word goes viral that she tried a third time but the organizers objected.
Lucky has 114,000 followers on Instagram and the video showing the comparison between 2021 and 2022 has been liked over six million times. However, there was no third version of “Beer Chugging”, as she reports in a video on Instagram.

The 27-year-old gave her fans an answer to the question of why she was not seen again. The American, who says her profession is yoga teacher and life coach, doesn’t know why she wasn’t shown this time. “I was at the US Open, but for some reason the people in charge didn’t let me onto the Jumbotron (the huge video cube in the center of the stadium, ed.).” No reason was given to her.

“I still had a lot of fun and came to terms with it. I know the universe has plans for me.” Lucky doesn’t think about stopping the beer exen, she’ll do that at another event soon, she said. And at the end she summed up: “This is not the end of the ‘Beer Girl’.”
Lucky revealed in a previous interview that these beer videos have resulted in collaborations with several alcohol brands, but she hasn’t made any money from her actions so far. That’s why she’s now posting more on social media.
